Donation Refund Policy

Donations are gifts, and UK charity law limits when a charity may return them. This policy explains what we will always put right, and how to ask.

We will always refund promptly

• Duplicate donations made in error (e.g. a double-click or a page refresh)
• Donations of the wrong amount (we refund the difference or the whole gift)
• Unauthorised or fraudulent use of a payment card
• Payments taken after you cancelled a monthly donation

Email contact@sidefxhub.com with the date, amount and the email address used, and we will action it as soon as possible. Refunds go back to the original payment card.

Change of mind

If you simply change your mind, contact us within 14 daysof the donation and we will consider a goodwill refund at the trustees' discretion — charity law only permits us to return donations in limited circumstances.

Monthly donations

You can cancel your monthly donation at any time using the link in any receipt email or by emailing us. Cancellation stops all future payments immediately; payments already made are donations and are covered by the rules above.

Gift Aid

If a donation is refunded, any Gift Aid associated with it is cancelled, and where tax has already been reclaimed from HMRC we repay it via an adjustment on our next claim — this is handled by us and requires nothing from you.
